Building Your Career Toolkit Workshop

In this workshop, we'll be focused on setting career goals and strengthening our career toolkits! We'll cover the how-to's of resume-building, writing cover letters, recommendations & references, and developing sustainable strategies for job searching.CNC staff and volunteers from Environmental Science Associates will be providing 1:1 peer support and resources, including resume and/or cover letter review.

What to bring & how to prepare:

• Bring a water bottle & reusable coffee tumbler/mug.
• Bring a face mask, which is required for this indoor event. Extra masks will be available at the event if needed.
• Please familiarize yourself with our Wavier & Photo Release Form. Copies of the Waiver and Photo Release Form will be given to you upon arrival to complete and sign. Signatures are required in order to participate in the program.
• DIRECTIONS: Upon arriving at the main entrance gates to the LA River Center, please look for signs pointing to the Sierra Madre Room in order to make your way to the event location.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know, so we can open your spot to someone on the waitlist.
